Manipulation Of The School Magazine Front Cover Model

As can be seen above Is a picture of my model I used when creating my school magazine 'ABS Life', the original picture used was already edited from the fellow person who actually is the model, which shows the wonders of photoshop. I would of used this picture, maybe for a music magazine but for a school magazine, it was to flashy to bright and had to be dimmed down so the student looks like a normal student instead of a star studded celebrity. I edited 3 setting when it came down to the image and that was the hue of the image, the saturation of the image and finally the lightness of the image which helped me to dim down the picture to portray a normal college student on a front cover. Thanks to photoshop I could achieve this, as I didn't take to long and I just played around with a couple of settings when it came down to the image.
